All 11 eligible Dominican teams were represented (women's golf does not have any upper classmen).

"We are very proud of the 30 student athletes who were inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma this year,” said Dominican Faculty Athletics Representative Dr. Christopher Leeds. “Achieving a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA by your junior year is a major accomplishment for any student, but to achieve this while maintaining the time demands of athletic competition is truly impressive. These students are shining examples of what student-athletes can achieve."

Chi Alpha Sigma is a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student athletes who earn a varsity letter in at least one sport while maintaining a 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA throughout their junior and senior years.

Dominican prides itself in the complete development of its student-athletes, on the field of play and in the classroom. Dominican has won the Pacific West Conference Academic Achievement Award for three years running. Men' soccer produced Capital One NCAA Division II Academic All-America® First Team member Pedro Guevara. Men's and women's soccer, men's basketball, and men's lacrosse all had record seasons since joining NCAA Division II. Men's basketball earned the No. 4 seed in the inaugural PacWest Championships while men's lacrosse captured the Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association championship with a perfect 6-0 run.
