Men's  Lacrosse
Four of the top five scorers on Dominican's lacrosse team are freshmen and the other,
Reed Upson, is a sophomore. The young Penguins had a four-game, nine-day road trip to New York and New Jersey in March, but finish their season with three home contests in their remaining four outings. Freshman Jim Little of Sacramento leads the team with 18 goals and 25 points. Classmates Zach Rodriguez, Kyle Mitchell, and Cam Evangelho have combined for 34 goals as action continued in April.

Women's Softball
Though the first 20 games of the season, Robyn Ridpath was leading the Penguins in most every offensive category. Classmate Lesley Fay was second in batting average, hits and on-base percentage. Jessi Saaty, a sophomore, leads Dominican pitchers in strikeouts and was recently named to the Pacific West Conference Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll after pitching a complete game shutout. Freshman Alisha McKnight has the best earned run average among Penguin pitchers.

Women's Tennis
Senior Stephanie Lemp rode a hot streak into April. The Penguins' No. 1 player won her singles match in straight sets and then she teamed with her doubles partner, senior Michele Freitas, to win their match 8-0 against Notre Dame de Namur.

Men's and Women's Golf
The highlight for the Penguins women's team was an eagle recorded by junior Ashley Rubin on the 18th hole of the Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside at the Lady Otter Invitational. On the men's side, freshman Dan Willsen fired a two-under-par 70 in the final round of the Thunderbird Invitational at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
