WOMEN'S BOX SCORE | MEN'S BOX SCORE

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — Several familiar faces were on the court on Sunday afternoon at the Conlan Center and you won't find most of them on the 2009-10 roster this season. A dozen alumnae returned to face the current Dominican University of California women's basketball team while 15 alumni suited up to face the 2009-10 Dominican men.

The current teams won both games - the Dominican women outlasted the alumnae 87-39 and the men won 96-74.

In the women's game, three current players scored in double digits. Michaelia Baskerville led all players with 15 points. Kiley Berlinksi and Shelly Clermenco added 12 points each.

Catherine Gravelle '05 led the alumnae with 11 points and five rebounds.

In the men's game, the alumni held the lead midway through the first half but the current team settled down and scored 62 second-half points.

Alex Ward was one of five current Dominican players to reach double digit scoring and led all players with 17 points.  James McKinnon added 13 points and Kellis Love scored 11 points. Austin Bryan and Killian Larson each chipped in 10 points in the win. Larson led all players with seven rebounds.

Brandon Quick '05 led the alumni with 13 points and sharp-shooting Ray Chavis '09 sank four three-pointers to finish his day with 12 points.

Starting Monday, Nov. 16, it all counts for the Dominican basketball teams. The Dominican women face Cal Poly Pomona at home at the Conlan Center. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. in San Francisco, the Dominican men face NCAA D-I University of San Francisco.
