PHOENIX, AZ — The final Pacific West Conference Men's Soccer Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll of the 2009 campaign was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Nov. 9, for games contested Nov. 2-8.

Dominican University of California freshman goalkeeper Matthew Carlson earned a place on the top 10. The San Diego native halted all three shots flung his way in a 1-0 overtime victory at Dixie State College on Nov. 3. The 6-foot-4 keeper played 99:51 of flawless action in net.

The Penguins finish the season with an overall record of 8-11-1 and a 5-8-1 record in conference play. The Dominican men, originally pegged to finish seventh in the preseason coaches poll, conclude their first season as a member of the PacWest in sixth place, ahead of Dixie State, Chaminade University, and fellow newcomer Academy of Art University.
