Guevara earns Men's Soccer Honors

Pedro Guevara's two goals earned him a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll.
PHOENIX, AZ — The men's soccer Weekly Top 10 honor was announced by the Pacific West Conference Media Office on Monday, Oct. 19, for games played Oct. 19-25.

Pedro Guevara scored two goals on the week to earn a place on the Weekly Top 10 for the fourth time this season.
The sophomore scored the game-winning goal in overtime on a penalty kick at Chaminade University on Oct. 24 for the 2-1 Dominican win.
The Santa Rosa native also scored a game-tying goal versus Hawai'i Pacific University in an eventual 2-1 loss on Oct. 20.
The Dominican men are 7-9-1 overall and are 4-6-1 in PacWest play, good for sixth place. The Penguins play their final home match of the season on Oct. 29 against Notre Dame de Namur University. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m.
